When I was studing at the secondary school I had a teacher who used to impress me a lot. She had studied the Medicine and Mathematics univesity courses. Teaching ought to had been really a strong vocation, otherwise with this two university courses who wonders what made her to preffer to be a secondary school teacher... Well... life enigmas!!!
So I remember one of the classes when she explained us how is proportionally the atom structure. She told us to imagine an orange in the middle of Catalonia Square (Plaça Catalunya). Then, we have the atom nucleus. Then she made us imagine the head of a needle spinning at high speed around the perimetre of the Square...
So yes!!! Precisely is what all you are thinking about. Matter is empty!!! What we see and touch is just force fields. We could say matter "nearly" doesn't exist, just energy.
This is really odd, isn't it??
